Along with the budding tress, the blooming tulips - and the pollen in the air – comes wedding season!
I love the planning and the preparation of a wedding, maybe even more than the event itself. I love the relationships that are formed, the friendships made and watching the dreams of a wide eyed bride transformed into the actual wedding day itself. To me, nothing is better than hearing “It’s even better than I hoped it would be.”
We have three coming right up and they couldn’t be more different. But that’s the joy of it. Each and every bride and groom have different personalities so there is a different set of parameters for each wedding.
“Buttery Yellow” comes up first. It will be delicious with spring time flowers and sparkling glass vases. Look for stunning photos in the future!
And then we have “Hot and Spicy” - our Korean bride and groom of Ecuadorian/Italian heritage. Talk about a combination! Colors of Tabasco red and hot pink will knock the socks off the guests at the reception.
Following up is the “Organic Sophistication” wedding. Look for delicate greens and creams in the florals and antique bronze accents with a garden atmosphere from the moment guests enter the gate of the reception site. Fabulous!
We’re in full gear – stocked with favors, programs, menu cards, ready for the escort cards to be calligraphied, flowers and rentals are ordered. It will be a wonderful April!
