We don't like to brag . . .
BUT we're extremely excited about our wedding design in the new Brides of Oklahoma magazine just out. If you haven't picked up your copy, run out and get one! Chris Humphrey of Chris Humphrey Photographer captured all the glamour and our hard work. Watch the video shot by Von Wedding Films to see behind the scenes.
So much planning goes into setting up a photo shoot and we're always happy when the finished product comes together. First of all, we submit our idea to the BOO panel of Brides. Then IF they like it, we're asked to produce the look that we submitted.
That requires not just Lasting Impressions but a full cadre of wedding professionals coming together for approximately FOUR hours to set up the shoot, wait while the professional photographer and videographer capture every detail and then tear it all down! It's a lot of work for everyone and we could not be more excited for this latest photo shoot - our rendition of "Timeless and True". We selected The Campbell Hotel as the backdrop for this vintage design and they were wonderful to work with. What a beautiful Hotel.
The inspiration for this design definitely came from the gorgeous linens - we found them at The Special Event last year and could not wait to use them. When Sarah at The Inviting Place saw the linen. she immediately found the perfect paper suite to complement it. We LOVE the letterpress invitation, menu cards and place cards for the table. Then it was on to the vintage furniture, candelabra and other rentals from Marianne's Rentals and we found everything we needed from Brent and the team.
We loved creating the vintage inspired flower arrangements of soft garden roses, dreamy tulips and silver accents of lamb's ear and succulents. Orchids and branches completed the look. Our antique candelabra fit right in with the lovely hotel architecture.
Our Bride (and she is a REAL Lasting Impressions Bride) wore a lovely deco dress from Abelina's along with accessories. Her cascade bouquet by Ken of The Garden Trug was the crowning touch. And of course her hair by Heather Valentine and makeup by Ashlee Bivins meant she looked stunning.
All first class events require lighting and OMNI Lighting lit the space beautifully. Our gorgeous cake by Ms. Laura's took center stage in a small alcove at the hotel. She captured my design perfectly.
No wedding is complete with swag bags for your guests, personal statements about the couple and champagne. Millennium Ice created a custom ice bucket for our pink champagne bottle and we nestled the glasses in pearls. Another touch of vintage.
Wedding Wishes . . . Lynn
